My Ticket To A Good Sleep

I have recently dived deep into the world of essential oils and I am LOVING IT.

At Christmas I received a 12 pack of empty roller bottles so I could start making my own blends of oils for different reasons.

So far I have one for immunity (for when everyone around me is getting sick – no thank you), one for muscle pain and one for sleep – my favourite so far and the first one I made.

My sleep blend currently contains the following: 6 drops of lavender essential oil and 3 drops of frankincense essential oil, diluted with fractionated coconut oil. This is a dreamy combo that I love to roll on the soles of my feet, neck and wrists before I go to sleep every night.

I love learning about the connection between essential oils and emotions (SO keen to get the book all about this) but what I love about both of these oils for nighttime is that they are both super relaxing and applying topically allows us to calm down and relieve tension. They are epic for relaxing on their own so together they are too good to not mix. I’m nearly out of my current blend so I’m going to experiment next by adding some drops of doTERRA’s Balance essential oil – gimme alllll of the calmness before bed!
